掺铒光纤功率放大器（BA，Booster amplifier）通常用于增加-6dBm~+3dBm或更高范围内的光信号功率，大饱和功率为26dBm，通常用于增加激光光源的发射功率。

ACC模式-自动电流控制：EDFA泵送工作电流由用户设置，并由EDFA自动锁定，以实现恒定的泵送电流。当输入光功率波动时，输出功率也会相应波动，这适用于所有EDFA型号。

APC模式-自动功率控制：EDFA的信号光输出功率由用户设置，PD自动监测并反馈输出功率，EDFA控制和自适应调节泵实现输出信号的稳定。当输入光功率波动时，APC模式使输出功率的波动小化，并且适用于功率型和线型EDFA。

ACC mode - automatic current control: The EDFA pumping operating current is set by the user and automatically locked by the EDFA to achieve a constant pumping current. When the input optical power fluctuates, the output power will also fluctuate accordingly, which is suitable for all EDFA models.
